Baker is one of four companies contracted that together were awarded $240 million over five years. Officials said the construction-management services will go to support air base facilities, including barracks and other buildings.

"We are pleased to have been awarded this contract, which strengthens and expands Baker's international presence," Jeff Hill, Baker senior vice president and Transatlantic Programs Center program principal, said in a statement.

"We have been providing these types of services to Transatlantic Programs Center prior to and during the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan and have demonstrated that we are a firm that Transatlantic Programs Center can depend on to perform even in the harshest of settings."
