MANCHESTER, N.H., March 19 (UPI) -- PMC Wire & Cable announced its New Hampshire airframe and specialty-wire unit will be combined with U.S. company RSCC Military-Shipboard.
PMC announced the combination with Rockbestos-Surprenant Cable Corp. Military-Shipboard is part of an effort to realign its Manchester, N.H., unit with a stronger focus on the aerospace-and-defense market.
Officials said the PMC Manchester unit, by combining with RSCC Military-Shipboard, will become RSCC Aerospace & Defense, a Marmon Wire & Cable/Berkshire Hathaway company.
"The new branding strengthens our presence and better defines the company's capabilities and involvement in the specific market segment of aerospace and defense while allowing the PMC brand to remain focused in the thermocouple marketplace," Timothy Grass, PMC president, said in a statement.
