VIENNA, Va., March 9 (UPI) -- The Belize Ministry of National Security has contracted Memex Inc. for software technologies in support of law enforcement and intelligence initiatives.
U.S. company Memex was contracted by the Belize Ministry of National Security to expand on a previous deal to integrate its software technologies to nine additional government agencies in the country, including the Belize Defense Force and Belize City Crimes Investigation Branch.
Under the deal, Memex will supply its intelligence-management, search and analysis software to help Belize combat transnational criminal organizations and other violent gang activity.
"Memex provides the framework for every national-security agency in Belize to have the ability to share information," Neil Schlisserman, Memex Americas vice president, said in a statement.
"We have made a commitment to speed-of-delivery, education, consulting, customer satisfaction and project management to ensure our customers realize the full potential of our solution."
