PASADENA, Calif., March 2 (UPI) -- U.S. company Parsons has acquired intelligence training solutions provider McMunn Associates Inc. in a move to expand its services for the defense market.
Parsons, a technical and management solutions provider, will integrate MAI with the company's U.S. intelligence and homeland security business ventures.
Officials say with the purchase, Virginia-based MIA will become part of Parsons' Infrastructure & Technology Group Inc. division.
"MAI has extensive experience supporting the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, and other agencies with the core intelligence competencies of blended learning training solutions, civil maritime solutions, research and analysis support services, and critical infrastructure protection," Tom Roell, Parsons Group president, said in a statement.
"They provide anytime, anywhere training and support services to maximize the effectiveness of intelligence analysis."
