FALLS CHURCH, Va., Feb. 17 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has selected Vertex Solutions to participate in a contract vehicle to support Defense Department training and simulation requirements.
Virginia-based Vertex was selected by the Army for work with the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation. Officials say Vertex was selected for the full and open lot and the small business set-aside lot as part of the PEO STRI's Omnibus Contract II, or STOC II, contract vehicle.
Vertex says it plans to use its new Adayana GameWare Learning Solutions service to compete for the STOC II simulation and training task orders.
The STOC II is a "multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract … designed to deliver training and simulation to the U.S. Army, as well as other Department of Defense agencies," the release said.
