The BOSS-U program is designed to support the Army with advanced biometric identification systems and technology to address evolving design, analysis and demonstration requirements, among others.

WCC, a provider of search-and-match software technologies, says it plans to submit its Elise ID platform to support work on the BOSS-U program.

"We are pleased to support the BOSS-U program," Peter Went, WCC chief executive officer, said in a statement.

"We believe Elise ID, our platform for multimodal fusion, can provide a comprehensive identity search and match capability that includes biometric, biographic and contextual data that is relevant for the BOSS-U program."
