One Network Enterprises supports TRANSCOM

DALLAS, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- One Network Enterprises says its logistics solution to improve the efficiency of the U.S. military's freight movements is being integrated successfully.

The Defense Department's Transportation Command contracted supply chain solutions developer Menlo Worldwide to help to improve the efficiency of military cargo shipments in the United States.

Officials say Menlo Worldwide has successfully deployed U.S. company One Network Enterprises' Software-as-a-Service logistics solution at 60 percent of TRANSCOM's installations, including at the large Defense Distribution Center in Susquehanna, Pa. The Software-as-a-Service is being deployed to support the Defense Transportation Coordination Initiative.

The DTCI is a TRANSCOM program designed to strengthen management of military freight and improve reliability and efficiency.

"Our Software-as-a-Service platform has been built from the ground up to transform multi-enterprise business processes and deliver innovative solutions very quickly," Greg Brady, One Network founder and chief executive officer, said in a statement.

"Our solution aligns with the government's multi-party operational paradigm to improve support for our war fighters, drive efficiencies and maximize taxpayers' returns. With DTCI we were able to deploy a centralized multi-party transportation solution within a complex systems environment in less than 120 days."
