Army Intelligence Center contracts Stanley

ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 16 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has contracted Stanley Inc. to support the Army Intelligence Center Battle Command Battle Lab and Doctrine Directorate.

Virginia-based Stanley Inc. was awarded nine task orders worth $8 million from the Army Intelligence Center. Under the deal, Stanley will provide the Battle Command Battle Lab in Arizona with ground sensor systems development support.

Officials say Stanley also will conduct a war-fighter information capabilities assessment for the Army's Requirements Directorate and support the Doctrine Directorate with research for the intelligence doctrine, among other tasks.

"Stanley is very pleased to be working with the U.S. Army Intelligence Center's Battle Command Battle Lab and Doctrine Directorate in these critical areas," Randy Brooks, Stanley vice president, said in a statement.

"For more than three years, Stanley personnel have supported the Army Intelligence Center in a wide spectrum of development and training activities, and we appreciate the customer's continued confidence in our performance."
