Stanley to support Immigration Services

ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 24 (UPI) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced it has contracted Virginia-based Stanley Inc. for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services support.

Stanley is an integration and professional services provider for the U.S. government. Under the $225 million contract, the company will be the prime provider of USCIS California and Vermont Service Centers. Stanley will support USCIS services including mail and data entry among other applications for immigration services and benefits.

"Stanley welcomes this opportunity to support a new customer, USCIS, in its mission of administering the Immigration and Nationality laws of the United States and promoting national security," said Phil Nolan, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Stanley, in a statement. "We look forward to bringing our expertise in large operations management to work for USCIS."

Stanley has also been contracted by the U.S. Department of State among other federal agencies to provide large-scale operations management and processing support.

"USCIS requested proposals for innovative ideas for efficient, accurate and timely performance of critical processing services," said Eric Wolking, Stanley's vice president of federal agency programs. "Building on our collective capabilities, Stanley and our team of subcontractors developed a solution tailored to meet USCIS' unique requirements."
