MEMPHIS, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- DeAngelo Williams recorded his 10th straight 100-yard game Saturday with 136 yards on 23 carries to rally Memphis to a 21-16 win over Cincinnati.
Williams, who already has set a single-season school record for rushing yards, increased his total to 1,430.
Cincinnati (5-6, 2-5) opened a 16-7 lead on Chris Manfredi's 41-yard field goal with 11:43 left in the third quarter. But the Tigers closed to 16-14 on Danny Wimprine's one-yard run with 6:57 left in the third and took the lead on Darron White's three-yard run with 5:57 left in the contest.
Memphis (8-3, 5-2) overcame a poor effort by Wimprine, who threw three interceptions and completed just eight of 26 passes for 80 yards.
