MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Cyber-solutions company Tangible Security has acquired A&N Associates Inc., boosting its portfolio of information assurance products and management services.
The acquisition of the Maryland-based company is the second acquisition by Tangible Security in the past six months.
"The acquisition of A&N represents continued execution of our cyber-security focus and growth strategy," said Dr. Mark Mykityshyn, Tangible Security's executive chairman. "We now have the ability to broaden and deepen our relationships in the military and intelligence communities."
"A&N contributes time-proven relationships in the defense and intelligence communities, as well as many federal civilian agencies, such as the Department of Energy, General Services Administration, and the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity," said John Nicolettos, chief executive officer of A&N Associates. "Our information assurance capabilities in technical and policy analysis, operations engineering, and information systems security engineering increases the percentage of federal opportunities that Tangible can pursue as a prime (contractor)."
Financial and other terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Tangible Security, which is headquartered in Bethesda, Md., plans to move its headquarters to Columbia, Md., where A&N Associates is located.
