HERNDON, Va., Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Northrop Grumman said it has formed an industry team to offer aviation sustainment, training and operations support services to the Saudi Arabian military.
The team is made up of its joint venture companies Vinnell Arabia and Northrop Grumman Aviation Arabia, and AAR Inc. and DS2, a joint venture of PAE and QinetiQ North America.
The services would be provided under the Integrated Maintenance Support Services contract from the country's Ministry of National Guard.
"Through Vinnell Arabia, Northrop Grumman has been successfully supporting MNG for nearly 40 years by providing training, logistics, sustainment services and operational support," said Greg Schmidt, vice president and general manager of Northrop Grumman's Training Solutions division. "The expert team that we have formed will enable us to expand and strengthen our capabilities so that we can continue to meet the evolving needs of MNG.
"This partnership allows us to provide a highly experienced, innovative and low risk support team focused on specific MNG requirements."
