BAE Systems, Bayshore expand cooperation

MCLEAN, Va., July 27 (UPI) -- Firewall technology engineering company Bayshore Networks Inc. has expanded its partnership with BAE Systems for marketing of its cybersecurity products.

"We're pleased to expand our integration with BAE Systems to deliver the most tightly integrated next-generation firewall offering on the market," said Francis Cianfrocca, Bayshore Networks chief executive officer. "Advanced Persistent Threats and other advanced malware attacks on government, critical infrastructure and defense networks are rampant, and require immediate resolution through highly innovative security solutions."

Under the agreement, BAE Systems will resell and distribute Bayshore's SingleKey next-generation firewall for large enterprise and government defense networks. It will also market Bayshore SCADA Firewall for critical infrastructure and Bayshore's SingleView platform for threat analytics and situational awareness.

Customers will also have access to BAE's 24-hour technical support infrastructure.

Mabon, director of Cybersecurity Products Portfolio at BAE Systems. "This expanded partnership will help us further understand, support and protect the interests of those customers."
