"This is an exciting opportunity to develop a strong relationship between the companies that will result in great service to customers. We are looking forward to growing our relationship with Accenture and providing continued superior service to our clients," said Patrick Kernan, Vius managing member.

Vius is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business. It provides information technology services and consulting. Accenture is management consulting and technology services company. The two have worked together over the past several months to help identify solutions for government clients.

"Veterans bring a unique perspective to the work of protecting our country's citizens, both here and abroad," said Rocky Thurston, who leads Accenture's work at the Homeland Security Department. "We look forward to learning from Vius while sharing our experience and understanding of the federal marketplace."
