Northrop honors top suppliers

MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Twenty-six companies supplying products and services to Northrop Grumman's Information Systems business have been recognized for outstanding performance.

Northrop Grumman, which recognized the companies at its annual Supplier Excellence Awards ceremony, said the firms met the highest criteria for schedule, management performance and responsiveness, technical performance, financial performance and mission assurance.

"Suppliers play a vital role in helping us bring greater value to our customers by providing high-quality services and solutions, and innovation, particularly as it drives affordability for our customers," said Linda Mills, corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman's Information Systems sector.

"I want to thank our suppliers for helping us deliver on current programs and for working with us to win new work."

The companies recognized: Adept Technologies, Inc.; Aegis Power Systems, Inc.; Alutiiq LLC; Ascendant Innovations Corp.; Boecore; DS Technologies, LLC; Effective Software Solutions Inc.; Essintial Enterprise Solutions; Forward Logistics Services; Georgia Tech Research Institute; Gichner Shelter Systems; Harris Corp.; JAS and Associates LLC; L-3 Communications; and LTC Engineering Associates Inc.
