WASHINGTON, March 15 (UPI) -- U.S. Army efforts to modernize its information technology systems and programs will receive planning and engineering support from Quality Business Engineering.
QBE, a management and technology consulting enterprise, said the services are being provided under a blanket purchase agreement from the Army's Program Executive Office -- Enterprise Information Systems and Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services.
The terms of the agreement and its value weren't disclosed.
QBE, however, said it will provide strategic enterprise architecture review, EA planning services, IT enterprise technical architecture planning, IT solution implementation, security support and strategic and technical advisory services.
"We've been working with this community for nearly a decade and are honored and excited to continue our work with the leaders of PEO-EIS, ALTESS and the U.S. Army," said Shawn Landry, president and chief executive officer of QBE.
"Our team of experts at QBE has a great passion for the integration of people, processes and technology. We also truly understand and respect the vision of our clients, and we have the experience and skills to help mitigate the challenges that must be met in order to achieve that vision."
QBE said it has already provided similar services to the Army over the past three years.
