ManTech's counter-terror support extended

FAIRFAX, Va., Jan. 26 (UPI) -- ManTech International's support contract to the U.S. Department of Defense's Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office has been extended.

The extension of ManTech's scientific, engineering, technical and administrative support services is for one year.

"The CTTSO customer has unique operational and technical demands and they need to quickly deploy advanced solutions to fight the war on terror," said Terry M. Ryan, president and chief operating officer of ManTech's Systems Engineering and Advanced Technology group.

"We are honored to contribute to the success of the CTTSO mission with vital support in rapid acquisition, systems engineering, and prototype development and testing."

The Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office researches, develops and prototypes technologies.

ManTech said its services to the organization ManTech's services will help to improve policy development, management, and administration as well as systems operations and also supports CTTSO's Technical Support Working Group, an inter-agency organization that develops counter-terrorism tools.
