Xe Services to open new headquarters

NEW YORK, July 27 (UPI) -- Training and security services provider Xe Services is establishing a new corporate headquarters in Northern Virginia.

The announcement was made by USTC Holdings LLC, the investor consortium that acquired Xe Services LLC -- including its main holding, U.S. Training Center Inc. – last December.

"This move demonstrates our commitment to foster even stronger relationships with our customers in and around Washington," said Xe Chief Executive Officer Ted Wright. "Establishing our headquarters office in Arlington will facilitate those exchanges while we continue to deliver the best-in-class operational excellence that all of our customers have come to expect."

Xe's executive leadership will be based in Arlington, Va., but continue to have an ongoing presence at the company's flagship 7,000-acre training facility in Moyock, N.C.

Xe Services also maintains training facilities in Groton, Conn., and San Diego and a permanent 10-acre forward operating base in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Xe Services serves the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Defense, numerous law enforcement and intelligence organizations and agencies, allied governments and corporate customers globally. The company was formerly known as Blackwater USA.

USTC is a global provider of training and technical services focused on counter-terrorism, force protection, law enforcement and security operations.
