FAIRFAX, Va., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- ManTech International Corp. will help the U.S. Agriculture Department combat malicious cyberactivities on the agency's enterprise information infrastructure.
The contract, which features an initial period of one year and four 1-year extension options, is estimated to be worth as much as $10.8 million.

The Agriculture Department Office of the Chief Information Officer is responsible for supervising and coordinating the design, acquisition, maintenance, use and disposal of information technology by USDA agencies monitoring its information technology programs and activities.
Under the contract, ManTech, which has headquarters in Fairfax, Va., will provide 24/7 incident handling and strategic cybersecurity support.
