6.6 earthquake strikes China

BEIJING, April 17 (UPI) -- A magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck Qinghai in western China Thursday, the official Chinese news agency Xinhua said. There have been no reports of damage or injuries, but a magnitude 6.8 quake that hit a neighboring region on Feb. 24 killed 268 people.
