UN calls for halt to eastern DRC fighting

UNITED NATIONS, March 4 (UPI) -- The U.N. Security Council, concerned about renewed fighting in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, Monday called for an end to hostilities. The panel also asked for warring factions in Katanga province near Moliro to fully respect their commitment to the cease-fire agreement.
