Reports: WSJ reporter killed in Pakistan

WASHINGTON, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter kidnapped in Pakistan Jan. 23, was killed Friday, CNN reported, citing e-mail sent to news organizations. The group that kidnapped Pearl had issued a series of demands, including the release of prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay and reinstatement of the sale of fighter jets.
