LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 10 (UPI) -- After years of declining sales and increased competition, Pizza Hut will introduce a wide variety of new topping and menu options in attempt to rebrand as an exotic pizza chain.

The new-look Pizza Hut will feature ten new crust flavors, six new sauces, five new toppings, four new flavor-pack drizzles, a new logo, new uniforms and a new pizza box. Pizza Hut currently offers only one crust option -- although customers can order it stuffed with mozzarella cheese -- one sauce option and no "premium" toppings or drizzles.

Among Pizza Hut's new options are curry crust, sriracha crust, pretzel crust, fresh spinach, cherry peppers, banana peppers and bacon. In addition to the new pre-made and custom pizza options, Pizza Hut will offer "skinny" slices of 250 calories or less.

With all the new interchangeable options, the company says customers can now pick "over 2 billion combinations of pizzas."

"This is the biggest change we've ever made," said Carrie Walsh, Pizza Hut's chief marketing officer, adding "We're redefining the category."

Despite the brand overhaul, some market watchers Pizza Hut risks alienating its customer base.

"Pizza Hut may be doing too much too quickly," Darren Tristano, executive vice president at restaurant industry research specialist Technomic, warned USA Today.

"It would appear that the brand that has lost touch with the consumer is trying to change too much overnight."

Pizza Hut will roll out its "The Flavor of Now" campaign at all of it's 6,300 U.S. locations on Nov. 19.
