SUWON, South Korea, July 22 (UPI) -- Samsung launched its 105-inch Ultra HD TV, available for preorder starting Tuesday at a cost of $119,999.99, or as much as a BMW M5.

The TV, which was first displayed at CES 2014 and called the 105U9500, is a curved, 4K TV and is only "made to order." The TV has an LCD compatible screen and comes in a black wood finish. Samsung promises to install and personally set up the TV using its specialized group of "Field Engineers."

The television is the largest to have both Ultra HD and a curved OLED display, providing lucky buyers with 21:9 aspect ratio. Because of the extra wide display, it won't exactly be 4K -- 5,120 x 2,160 resolution, or 11 million pixels -- and although black bars appear along the sides of 4K video, cinematic movies are usually filmed in 21:9.

Customers who would like to mount the TV on a wall need not worry; Samsung has a specially designed mount, sold separately.

Apart from Samsung's gigantic TV, Sony's 65-inch KDL-65S990A is the only other curved LED LCD on the market and the 58-inch Vizio XVT3D580CM is the only other 21:9 TV on the market.
