NEW YORK, April 22 (UPI) -- Buoyed in large part by My Little Pony's well-documented comeback, Hasbro blew past earnings expectations in the first quarter and swung to a profit.
After reporting losses last year, the toy company posted a first-quarter net income of $32 million.

Its boys' division, meanwhile, increased by only 2 percent, while games sales fell 4.5 percent.
