Crude oil holds above $102 per barrel

NEW YORK, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices rose modestly Monday, holding above $102 per barrel as supply concerns propped up prices.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, crude oil added 61 cents to $102.77 per barrel.

Natural gas gave up 66 cents to $5.48 per million British thermal units as traders moved away from a price spike to post profits, with winter losing some of its ferocity.

Reformulated blendstock gasoline prices added 0.99 cents to $2.8328 per gallon.

Heating oil prices lost 0.22 cents to $3.0947 per gallon.

At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded rose from Sunday's $3.409 per gallon to $3.419, the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report said.
