Zoom car seat stroller adapters recalled

WASHINGTON, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of 1,500 Zoom car seat stroller adapters due to a potential falling hazard.

The adapters, made in China and sold online at Joovy.com and at independent juvenile specialty stores, retailed for $25 from May 2012 through August 2013, the commission said.

Consumers were advised to stop using the gray metal seat stroller adapters, which were sold as model 00945 for Graco and 00946 for Chicco and 00947 for Peg Perego frames.

Consumers were advised to contact Joovy for a free repair kit or call 855-251-0759 for information.
