Crude oil rebounds

NEW YORK, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices for October delivery climbed Thursday, pushing toward $109 with help from a bullish-leaning inventory report.

The Energy Information Administration said crude oil supplies dropped by 200,000 barrels in the week ending Friday to 360 million.

West Texas Intermediate crude oil for October delivery added $1.15 to reach $108.71 per barrel. Reformulated blendstock gasoline added 3.42 cents to $2.7464 per gallon. Heating oil gained 3.91 cents to $3.1109 per gallon.

Natural gas added 0.8 cents to $3.65 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline dropped to $3.55 per gallon Thursday, down from Wednesday's $3.558, AAA's daily fuel gauge report said.
