Campbell recalls mislabeled SpaghettiOs

CAMDEN, N.J., Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Campbell Soup Co. said some U.S. consumers could be surprised to find Spaghetti-Os in cans mislabeled as chicken broth.

The company said it was recalling about 80 cases of mislabeled cans that were packaged at "100% Natural Chicken Broth," The (Newark, N.J.) Times-Ledger reported Saturday.

All the mislabeled SpaghettiOs were shipped to one distribution center. That center has retail customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas, the newspaper said.

The 14.5 ounce cans were shipped Aug. 7 and have UPC code 51000 02431.

"In an abundance of caution, Campbell is retrieving the 80 cases of canned pasta labeled as Swanson 100% Natural Chicken Broth from the market. This recall does not affect any other Campbell products," the company said in an online posting.
