Crude oil eases back slightly

NEW YORK, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Crude oil for October delivery held above $106 per barrel Monday.

Crude eased back slightly, giving up 21 cents to $106.21 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Reformulated blendstock gasoline lost 3.38 cents to settle at $2.8369 per gallon. Home heating oil lost 1.19 cents to reach $3.0871 per gallon.

Natural gas added 1.3 cents to $3.498 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline was $3.54, unchanged from Sunday, the AAA Fuel Gauge report said.
