Apple Park recalls children's loungewear

WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of about 7,250 sets of Apple Park loungewear for children due to safety concerns.

The lounge wear violates federal standards on flammability, the commission said in a statement.

The sets are two-piece garments that fail standards that require sleep clothing for children to be either flame resistant or snug-fitting.

The recall involves pajama sets from Apple Park's Bamboo Loungewear Collection, the commission said Tuesday.

They were sold in green, pink, blue and white/green, each with an animal motif.

They have solid-colored wrist and ankle bands. They were imported from China by Apple Park of San Francisco and sold nationwide.

The price and the timeline the garments were available was not posted.

Consumers were advised to stop using the garments and contact Apple Park for a full refund.
