Escalade outdoor playsets recalled

WASHINGTON, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Escalade Sports of Evansville, Ind., is recalling 4,600 outdoor playsets with hazardous swing seats, a federal watchdog agency said.

The swing seats on the playsets can break in half, causing the user to fall, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.

The recall involves Oasis Playsets with model numbers PG01W, PG02W, PG03W and PG04W.

The seats involved in the recall are made of green plastic and are hung from green, plastic-coated chains.

Consumers were advised to stop using the swing seats and contact Escalade Sports for a replacement seat.

Consumers can call 800-742-6009 for information.
