NBC Universal to have new leadership

NEW YORK, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- The Comcast Corp. takeover of U.S. entertainment giant NBC Universal is expected to include an executive makeover, sources told The Wall Street Journal.

Regulatory approval for the $13.75 billion deal in which Comcast will acquire 51 percent of NBC Universal is expected by the end of the year. At that point, Comcast Chief Operating Officer Steve Burke, slated to become chief executive office at NBC Universal, will assign Showtime CEO Bob Greenblatt the task of managing entertainment programming, the Journal said Saturday.
