Crude oil prices drop slightly

NEW YORK, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices fell slightly on the New York Mercantile Exchange Monday as prices remained stagnant near the $71 per barrel mark.

Crude oil prices have dropped 14 cents from Friday to $70.72 per barrel. Heating oil prices added 0.0239 cents to $1.9384 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline gained 0.0325 cents to $2.0355 per gallon. Natural gas prices lost 0.034 cents to $3.666 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline was $2.645 per gallon Monday, up slightly from Sunday's $2.643, AAA said.
