Crude oil prices rise slightly

NEW YORK, March 20 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices rose slightly Friday on the New York Mercantile Exchange, continuing a monthlong trend toward higher prices.

The U.S. dollar's drop, prompted by the U.S. Federal Reserve's decision to buy U.S. Treasuries Wednesday, put further upward pressure on oil prices.
