ROCHESTER, N.Y., Aug. 11 (UPI) -- The U.S. Marine Corps is paying the Florida-headquartered Harris Corp. $69 million for multi-band, multi-mission tactical radios.
The company's Falcon(R) II AN/PRC-117F radios, which cover the entire 30 to 512 MHz frequency spectrum, come in "manpacks" and also in vehicle-ready formats.

The radios will replace the Marine's legacy AN/PRC-113 and AN/PSC-5 radios, Harris said Friday.
