Energy prices mixed on the Nymex

NEW YORK, May 8 (UPI) -- Energy commodities prices were mixed Monday on the New York Mercantile Exchange, with crude oil at less than $70 per barrel.

High-quality crude oil was off 19 cents to $69.75 per barrel, and natural gas was off 19 cents to $6.696 per million Btu.

Gasoline rose a penny to $2.005 per gallon, and AAA said early Monday that the average U.S. retail price for regular was $2.902 per gallon.

Heating oil was up 1.83 cents to $1.956 per gallon.
