KIEV, Ukraine, March 7 (UPI) -- U.S. and Ukrainian officials have signed a bilateral trade protocol that advances Ukraine's bid to join the World Trade Organization.
Ukrainian Economy Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said the protocol on mutual access to the trade markets was a "good agreement, an agreement in which there are no winners and no losers," MosNews said Tuesday.
"Ukraine will doubtlessly join the WTO. We need this for economic development and bilateral relations. We are convinced that our economic growth will be based on WTO rules."
