AMMAN, Jordan, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Jordanian military officials are considering buying Russian attack helicopters and jet fighters.

Amman is particularly interested in the Mi-28 attack helicopter, Su-30 fighter jet and Mi-17-1 utility helicopter, Middle East Newsline said Thursday.

"There is a possibility of a long-term relationship between Russia and Jordan that would include a series of sales over the next decade," an industry source said.
