CUPERTINO, Calif., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- California's Apple Computer Inc. and Cingular Wireless will offer a Motorola Inc. cellphone that plays songs from Apple's iTunes Music Store.
To be known as the iTunes phone, it will be able to play music transferred from a personal computer's iTunes music collection, is part of an expected onslaught of music services from wireless carriers and handset makers.

Cingular Wireless is a joint venture of SBC Communications Inc. and BellSouth Corp.
An announcement could come next week, and the phone could be ready in time for Christmas shoppers.
