Lots of Busch at Busch Stadium this Monday

ST. LOUIS, May 24 (UPI) -- Officials at St. Louis' Busch Stadium have apparently stocked up on enough beer for the Memorial Day game, despite a strike at a key distributorship.

Workers at the Lohr Distributing Co., a beer wholesaler supplying Anheuser-Busch Co. products to St. Louis area customers, are expected to remain on strike through Monday, the Post-Dispatch reported Tuesday.

The job action arose after Lohr wouldn't budge on its demands that workers pay larger health care deductibles and accept lower commissions on certain deliveries, said Dan McKay, president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 600.

Lohr officials vowed fans could drink as much Busch at Busch stadium as they want, despite the strike.
