Singapore, Thailand seek Asean integration

BANGKOK, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Singapore and Thailand will seek faster integration of the South-east Asian economic grouping at an upcoming meeting in Laos.

While the two countries are satisfied with the progress of their bilateral cooperation, they were not as satisfied with the pace of Asean towards its goal of a regional economic community, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said after a meeting with his Thai counterpart, The Business Times reported Friday.
