Consumer confidence still rising

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Consumer confidence rose in January for the fourth straight month despite continuing worry about economic conditions, the latest University of Michigan survey showed Friday. Richard Curtin, director of U-M's Surveys of Consumers, said the results indicate consumers see the economy on the verge of recovery.
