June 7 (UPI) -- Comedian Billy Eichner confronted New York City pedestrians with several cast members from NBC's hit drama This Is Us.

Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz and Justin Hartley joned Eichner for a segment on his TruTV television show Billy on the Street in which the group ambushed New Yorkers to ask questions about the show.

Eichner declared it was the first time he had gathered multiple cast members from the same show for the "man on the street" style segment, as he quizzed passersby about their knowledge of the show.

The cast of the show remained relatively silent in the background as Eichner questioned whether the impromptu interviewees were familiar with the show and asked for their favorite cast members and story lines.

Eichner also poked fun at the cast members and the stunned pedestrians throughout their street side romp which included one man asking if Moore was single and a woman declining to objectify Ventimiglia.

He also asked one fan how she was "gearing up for Mandy Moore's Emmy campaign" for the show's first season before it is set to return to air in the fall.
