Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Ariana Grande delivered the first television performance of her new single "Imagine" on The Tonight Show. Grande, dressed in a red sweater with white snowflakes, was joined by Tonight Show band The Roots on a darkly lit stage.
"Click, click, click and post/ Drip-drip-dripped in gold/ Quick, quick, quick, let's go/ Kiss me and take off your clothes/ Imagine a world like that," Grande sang.
The singer also hit all of the tack's high notes as she closed out the performance, prompting an excited reaction from Fallon.
"Imagine," alongside "Thank U, Next," is expected to appear on Grande's upcoming fifth studio album.
Grande also joined Fallon and his former Saturday Night Live cast mates Horatio Sanz, Tracy Morgan and Chris Kattan to recreate their comedic holiday jam, "I Wish It Was Christmas Today."
The SNL crew first performed the song on the sketch-comedy series in 2000.
