NEW YORK, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Controversial couple Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston will be inviting the cameras into their Georgia home for a new TV reality show.
"Being Bobby Brown," to be aired on Bravo, will follow Brown as he attempts to get his recording career back on track following several years of legal and personal problems, the New York Daily News said Friday.
The network confirmed it has ordered 10 one-hour episodes to premiere next spring.
Brown began his recording career as the front man for New Edition in 1983, then went solo with several chart-topping hits in the late '80s.
But, for the past several years, he has often been in trouble with the law. He faces trial on misdemeanor battery charges for allegedly striking Houston in the face at their Atlanta-area mansion.
In February, he spent a month in jail for multiple probation violations.
