NASHVILLE, July 16 -- The Nashville Predators announced Tuesday they had signed defenseman Pascal Trepanier, an unrestricted free agent who played last season with the Colorado Avalanche.
Terms were not disclosed.
The 28-year-old Trepanier set career highs in games (74), assists (nine) and points (13) last season and made his first playoff appearance.
"This is a player that has improved in each of the past few seasons, working his way up from an undrafted minor leaguer to an everyday player with Colorado last year," general manager David Poile said. "We think that Pascal Trepanier will continue to improve when presented with the opportunity."
Trepanier has 12 goals and 22 assists in 228 NHL games with Colorado and the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. |end| Content: 15031000 15031001
