PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 25 -- Dan McGillis and John LeClair each scored two goals Tuesday night as the Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Washington Capitals, 6-4, in exhibition action.

McGillis, a defenseman, scored his second goal of the night and preseason 7:54 into the third period to give Philadelphia the lead for good, 4-3.

The Capitals held a 2-1 edge before LeClair scored twice in a 5:49 span bridging the first two periods to give the Flyers a 3-2 lead.

Caps sniper Peter Bondra scored the first of his two goals 3 minutes into the third period to tie the game, 3-3.

Kim Johnsson and Paul Ranheim also scored for Philadelphia, which snapped a four-game winless stretch (0-1-1-2).
