Blackhawks sign Rheaume, re-sign Leroux

CHICAGO, July 31 -- The Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday signed left wing Pascal Rheaume and re-signed left wing Jean-Yves Leroux.

Rheaume, who can play all three forward positions, appeared in eight games for the St. Louis Blues last season and and had two goals, no assists and five penalty minutes.

He appeared in three playoff games and had one assist.

Rheaume, 28 has appeared in 125 NHL games for New Jersey and St. Louis and and has 19 goals and 28 assists for 47 points and 70 penalty minutes.

Leroux, 27, had four goals and four assists and for eight points and 22 penalty minutes in 59 games for Chicago last season. He has 16 goals and 22 asists for 38 points and 146 penalty minutes in 220 career games, all with Chicago.
