Hawks sign Jacque Vaughn

ATLANTA, July 30 -- The Atlanta Hawks landed their second free agent point guard in four days Monday when they signed guard Jacque Vaughn on Monday.

Terms were not disclosed for Vaughn, who played for the Utah Jazz last season.

The Hawks signed guard Emanual Davis, formerly of Seattle, on Friday.

Playing behind All-Star guard John Stockton, Vaughn averaged 19.8 minutes last season and set career-highs in scoring (6.1), rebounding (1.8) and assists (3.9). The 6-1 Vaughn was a first-round draft choice of the Jazz in 1997 out of Kansas and averaged 4.3 points, 2.4 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 224 games for Utah.
